From Designer to Product Leader: My Journey in Building Impactful Digital Products

I’ve always been drawn to the art and science of creating solutions—how technology, when designed thoughtfully, can transform the way people live and work. My career has been a journey of evolution, from designing user experiences to leading product strategy and execution across fintech, e-commerce, and digital transformation.

The Early Days: Designing with Purpose

My product journey began with a deep appreciation for user experience and design. As a Product Designer at Hubtel, I focused on crafting seamless digital experiences that made payments, commerce, and communication more intuitive for users. It wasn’t long before I transitioned into Product Management, where I could take a more holistic approach—not just designing experiences, but shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of products that drive real impact.

Mastering Fintech & Digital Innovation

Over the years, I’ve worked as a Product Manager across multiple fintech companies, each time refining my ability to build scalable, user-centric solutions:

  • Hubtel – Where I transitioned from Product Designer to Product Manager, shaping digital payment solutions that power businesses and consumers across Ghana.
  • Brandhauz – Spearheading the development of digital financial services, ensuring smooth user experiences for businesses adopting fintech solutions.
  • ReHome Africa – Enabling real estate transactions through financial technology, making property acquisition more accessible.
  • Peswa Finance – Driving product strategy in financial services, helping individuals and businesses access financial tools seamlessly.
  • Unilever Ghana – Working on digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Complete Farmer (Transact) – Currently leading Transact, a fintech product designed to empower merchants and individuals in Ghana and beyond by enabling seamless transactions, financial planning, and digital payments.

Each role has strengthened my ability to balance business goals with user needs, ensuring that products are not only functional but innovative, scalable, and user-friendly.
